Legal Assistant – Immigration
Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, Erica graduated from Katrinelund Gymnasium (in Gothenburg) in 1985, after completing studies in Economics. Before graduating, she had spent one year as an exchange student, attending high school in Mission Viejo, California. Upon completing her studies, Erica headed for Frankfurt, Germany, where she lived and worked for a few years in business and sales support roles before moving to the U.S. in 1989.
After working in the travel industry for a few years, Erica first joined Law Offices A.E. Gustafsson in 1993. After two years, Erica left to spend time raising her children and taking care of her family. She returned to begin working for our firm again in 2005.
As Legal Assistant – Immigration, Erica applies her detail-oriented qualities to support the attorneys with all immigration-related cases by preparing documentation and communicating with clients, U.S. Embassies and USCIS as necessary. She is fluent in English and Swedish. She is also proficient in German, but prefers to refer to her German skills a “rusty” at this point.
On her free time, Erica enjoys traveling and spending time with her two teen-aged children, as well as her many friends.
